Use databases to find articles from scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, and more. 

Access our Databases

  1. Start from the Los Angeles Southwest College home page: www.lasc.edu
  2. Click on the Library button from the top menu
  3. Click on the button for A to Z Databases
  4. Browse the list of databases in alphabetical order

or use the different menus to browse databases by:

  • Subject
  • Type
  • Vendor

Not sure where to start, then scroll down the page and click on the Academic Search Complete link.

  1. From off-campus, you must log in to access the databases:
    • :  Enter your LACCD ID number or student email address and your password (same as Canvas)
  2. See the guide on how to use Academic Search Complete.
