Students can use our OneSearch system to locate and request circulating books/items from our LACCD libraries.  Once the request has been processed, you will be notified to pick up your request in your laccd student email. Reserve materials such as textbooks are not available for requests.  

How do I find a print book?

  1. Start from the Los Angeles Southwest College home page: www.lasc.edu
  2. Click on the Library button from the top menu
  3. Become familiar with the page
  4. From the OneSearch box menu, select "Books in Print (LASC)"
  5. Enter your search terms
  6. Click on the Search button
  7. Look at your search results and click on a relevant title

How do I request a print book?

  1. Look at the information about the particular book, and under the "Get it" section click on the "Sign in" link.
  2. Enter your student login credentials/portal login.
  3. Click on Request
  4. Select a library from the pickup location menu
    • You may look at the rest of the form to select additional options
  5. Click on Send Request

*After the request has been placed, you should see a green message indicating that the request has been successfully placed. 

Note* The library will send an email to your LACCD student email account when the item is ready for pick-up.
